Attendees traveling by air can fly into Salt Lake International Airport (SLC) or Provo Municipal Airport (PVU).

Directions to BYU from SLC using public transportation

  • Take the free TRAX Green Line train from the airport to North Temple Station.
  • Transfer to the southbound FrontRunner to Orem Central Station or Provo Central Station.
  • Transfer to the free UVX bus line from either station to BYU campus.

Note: The FrontRunner does not currently run on Sundays

Directions to BYU from PVU using public transportation

The 833 bus runs between PVU and stops near BYU. Select from any of the following options:

  • Take the 833 bus from PVU to the Freedom Blvd / 1550 N stop (right by the SpringHill Suites), then walk 0.5 mi. to BYU campus.
  • Take the 833 bus from PVU to the Provo Central Station (Bay J) stop. Transfer to the UVX bus and get off at the BYU North Campus station.
  • Take the 833 bus from PVU to the Provo Central Station (Bay E) stop. Transfer to the 831 bus and get off at the 900 N / 800 E BYU South Campus stop.
